It's 81 degrees here in the D today and you can almost smell summer. This pic reminds me of what I have in store for myself come July. There is NOTHING like long distance travel by scooter.

Some cool new things found their way to my door and I'm stoked about it. Thanks to Beverly Roberts (daughter of "Flash" from the Detroit Outlaws) for "Portraits of American Bikers" the second instalment of pics from her dad's huge collection of images he created. REALLY good stuff! Get your hands on a copy ASAP!
Also, Thanks to Andrew from "One Percent" magazine - a lovely new rag by my new favorite Kiwi's. Looks like they are in the know over there and living the life proper.
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Hope to see you there buddy.
Want to take a good rip through the twisty bits West of the D? Sunday is your day then. Suzi Greenway's bi-annual All Clubs Day is happening this Sunday in downtown Stockbridge. Get your shit in order and make the run. It's the most eclectic rally you'll find and the roads are the best in the lower mitten. See you all there. Suzi says show up around 10am.

My second bike as a wee lad.
My third bike as a wee lad - I still own this one. Kinda weird that they were parked next to one another.
Skateboard stuff from my time has officially become "vintage". Time flies.
My pick of the show - 1970's Shriner mini-minibike. I made what I thought was a very respectable (read $700) offer only to be laughed at by the owner - who turned out to be a total dipstick.
This freaked me out a little - these two plates sat there as photographed...Denise is my sister.
PERFECTION. Hipster's were wetting themselves.
$120 could have brought home this sharp little Elgin.
